One foot

I have one foot in the gutter
One foot on a cloud
My legs have problems stretching
So I often cry aloud,

‘Ow. Ow, ow. Ow Oucheee ooo,
Ow. Ow, ow. Oweeeee.
‘Ow did I manage to stretch my legs
Further than I can see?!’

A potato in the fridge

I’m a silly potato, 

I’m sitting in the fridge, 

I got a bit excited,

and now here I must live. 

 

I’m a caring potato, 

I only try my best,

but sometimes it’s not a good idea, 

to get things off your chest. 

 

I’m a friendly potato, 

But sometimes I am silly, 

and now I’m sitting in the fridge, 

I’m all these things and chilly. 

The oddness of smiling.
